Roomier scans, classifies, explains, and performs approved cleanup locally. The public website and support address are separate services; they never receive your disk scan.

Prepared August 3, 2026. This pre-launch policy describes the working site and support path; it will be rechecked against the exact release binary and live checkout before sales open.

The Roomier app

Disk scanning, directory classification, on-device explanations, cleanup review, and supported cleanup happen on the Mac. Roomier does not require an app account and does not upload a disk inventory, paths, filenames, file contents, or cleanup selections.

Apple’s on-device Foundation Models may generate a likely-purpose explanation from minimized metadata. When the model is unavailable or generation fails, Roomier uses deterministic descriptions. The model never authorizes cleanup.

The website

The static website does not use analytics, advertising pixels, account cookies, or a mailing-list form. When deployed, Cloudflare will deliver the site and may process ordinary network data such as IP address, request time, requested URL, and browser information under its own service terms.

Support email

Messages sent to [email protected] are forwarded by Porkbun to a private Google-hosted operator inbox. The forwarding destination is not published. Porkbun, Google, and the email systems between sender and recipient process message headers and content to deliver the email.

Send only the information needed for help. Do not attach a full disk inventory. Support messages are kept while the issue, purchase, or legal obligation requires them, then deleted from the working inbox when no longer needed. A sender may request deletion unless retention is required for security, fraud, accounting, or legal reasons.

Launch emails and checkout

Roomier does not currently collect launch-list addresses and has no live checkout. If a mailing list is activated, the form and this policy will name its provider, double-opt-in flow, unsubscribe behavior, and retention before collecting an address. If sales open, the checkout and receipt surfaces will identify Stripe and the exact purchase data it processes.

Crash reports

Crash transmission is off. Sentry is present only as an inert dependency until a release crash envelope is inspected and the transmitted categories are explicitly approved. Roomier will not silently turn it on.
